Some time ago, we decided to move the small demountable that was no longer needed as a store room nearer to the workshop. It was to be used as an administration centre and for the storage of records. To reduce the heat inside on a hot summers day, a new awning was installed above it and extended across the area in front to provide a covered lunch area.
The area in front of the office was bare dirt and so to finish off the area a concrete slab has recently been laid and the area surrounded by a fence to isolate the area from the entry/exit corridor from the workshop which is in use during open days. All this work was completed to a professional standard by GMR volunteers Terry and John under the supervision of Mick as foreman and master concreter.
