The town of Glenreagh is located 40kms / 35mins drive north west of Coffs Harbour and 46kms / 52mins drive south of Grafton.
Glenreagh Station – Located 2km east of the town of Glenreagh. If travelling from either Coffs Harbour or South Grafton along the Orara Way, turn onto Sherwood Creek Road until you reach the Main North Coast Railway after approx 1 km. General public entry / access into the railway yard is prohibited without seeking approval from the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC). An access gate is in place to keep out unauthorised people as it is within the main North Coast rail corridor.
Glenreagh West Depot – The GMR depot is located west of the town on the southern side of the Recreation Ground and is reached by turning off the Orara Way onto Bridge Street and passing through the entrance to the Recreation Ground and following the dirt road to the large green shed to the left..
Fettlers Cottage – The fettlers cottage is located to the east of the Glenreagh West Depot and is accessed by turning left off Bridge Street into George Street after the school and travelling along this dirt road,until you reach the railway line. The entrance to the cottage is on your right through the farm gate.
How to Find Us
Lowanna – Lowanna station is located south west of Glenreagh. When driving north to Glenreagh, access is gained by turning off the Orara Way road just after passing through the village of Coramba and on to the Eastern Dorrigo Way.
Driving for 25mins or 17kms then turn right onto Lowanna Road which will take you into the village. The railway station is located on Grafton Street opposite the primary school.
